One of His signs is that He created you from dust and, behold, you became human beings and multiplied yourselves throughout the earth. 20 And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect. 21 Other evidence of His existence are the creation of the heavens and the earth and the differences of languages and colors. In this there is evidence (of the truth) for the worlds (mankind). 22 And of His signs is that you sleep at night and day, and seek His bounty. Surely, there are signs in this for those who hear. 23 And of His signs is that He shows you the lightning for fear and hope. He sends down water from the sky and with it He revives the earth after its death. Surely, in this there are signs for a nation that understand. 24 And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth remain established by His command; then when He calls you – from the earth – you will thereupon emerge. 25 To Him belongs whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to His Will. 26 It is He who begins the creation, then, turns it back. For Him this is very easy. All the exalted attributes in the heavens and the earth belong to Him. He is the Majestic and All-wise. 27
