Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
