Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
