The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
