Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
