Al-Isra 8 of 12
Then think of the Day We shall summon every community with its leader. Those who are given their Record in their right hand shall read the Record of their deeds and shall not be wronged a whit. 71 And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way. 72 (Such blind ones) try to confuse what We have revealed to you so that they may falsely ascribe to Us something other than the true revelation and thus establish friendship with you. 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper. 75 Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while. 76 (This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways. 77
