Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
