And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
