The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the Mount 1 and by the Scripture penned 2 in a parchment unrolled, 3 by the established House (Mecca), 4 By the roof elevated. 5 and the sea swarming, 6 surely, the punishment of your Lord is about to come, 7 there is no one who could avert it, 8 Upon the day when heaven spins dizzily 9 and the mountains quickly move. 10 Woe, then, on that Day to those who give the lie (to this Message) 11 and who indulged in false disputes against (God's revelations). 12 On that day they will be violently pushed into the fire 13 This is the fire which you used to deny. 14 Is this, then, any feat of magic or are you unable to see? 15 Roast in it. Bear it with patience or impatience, it will be the same for you. You will be requited for what you had done." 16 The pious will live in bountiful Paradise, 17 Delighted at the bestowal of their Lord; and their Lord has saved them from the fire. 18 (It will be said): 'Eat and drink with a good appetite because of that which you did' 19 They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 20 And those who believed, and whose progeny also followed them in their faith, will be united with their offspring. We will not deprive them of their labour in the least. Every man is bound to what he does. 21 And We aided them with fruit and meat, whatever they desire. 22 They shall pass on to one another a cup that will incite neither levity nor sin. 23 ۞ They will be served by youths who will be as beautiful as pearls. 24 They will go to one another asking each other questions: 25 saying, "We were afraid while in the world. 26 Then Allah graced us with His favour and saved us from the chastisement of the scorching wind. 27 Verily we were wont to pray unto Him aforetime; verily He! it is He, the Benign, the Merciful. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
