The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 and clustered bananas, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
