The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
