Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 upon the straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
