The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
