The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
