The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 In pillars stretched forth (i.e. they will be punished in the Fire with pillars, etc.). 9
