Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 And removed your burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
