It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
