And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
