Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth halloweth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, He is the giver of life and death, and He has power over everything. 2 He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things. 3 It is He that created the heavens and the earth in six days then seated Himself upon the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth, and what comes forth from it, -- what comes down from heaven, and what goes up unto it. He is with you wherever you are; and God sees the things you do. 4 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and unto Him all matters are returned. 5 He turns night into day, and turns day into night; and He knows whatsoever is in your hearts. 6 Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend of that whereof He hath made you trustees; and such of you as believe and spend (aright), theirs will be a great reward. 7 And why should you not believe in God, seeing that the Apostle calls you to believe in [Him who is] your Sustainer, and [seeing that] He has taken a pledge from you? [Why should you not believe in Him] if you are able to believe [in anything]? 8 It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. 9 And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do. 10
