Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
