۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 If he is among the near 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
