The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
