3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
