We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
