Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
