The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
