In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 created Man of a blood-clot. 2 Read - for thy Sustainer is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who taught by the pen - 4 taught Man that he knew not. 5 No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 What is your opinion – regarding him who forbids – 9 A slave (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) when he prays? 10 Hast thou considered whether he is on the right way, 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, 15 A lying, sinful forehead. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We shall call on the guards of Hell. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
