The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 and clustered bananas, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 and flowing water 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
