The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the close of night, 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel – peace and blessings be upon him.) 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills – the Lord of the Creation. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
