The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
