Say, (O Prophet): “I call on my Lord alone, and I do not associate aught with Him in His Divinity.” 20 Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you. 21 Say: 'None shall protect me from Allah, and other than Him, I will find no refuge, 22 if I should fail to convey [to the world whatever illumination comes to me] from God and His messages." Now as for him who rebels against God and His Apostle - verily, the fire of hell awaits him, therein to abide beyond the count of time. 23 Till the time when they will see what they are promised – so they will now come to know whose aide is weak, and who is lesser in number. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)." 26 save only to such a Messenger as He is well-pleased with; then He despatches before him and behind him watchers, 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
