Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
