Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
