Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
