We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
