Thamud denied the warning 23 So they said, “What! Shall we follow a man from among us? If we do, we are indeed astray, and insane!” 24 Was there none but he to whom the Reminder could be vouchsafed excluding all others? Nay; he is an insolent liar.” 25 Tomorrow they will come to know, who is the liar, the insolent one! 26 for We are [going to] send the she-camel as a trial for them, so watch them and be patient. 27 And tell them that the water [of the well] is to be divided between them, and that each one should drink in turn." 28 Then they called their fellow, and he took the sword and hamstrung her, 29 How (great) was then My punishment and My warning! 30 For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle. 31 And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth? 32 The people of Lot rejected the warnings. 33 Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn 34 As a Favour from Us, thus do We reward him who gives thanks (by obeying Us). 35 He had warned them of Our might, but they passed over the warnings. 36 They even solicited of him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes: 'Now, taste My punishment and My warnings' 37 And certainly a lasting chastisement overtook them in the morning. 38 We said, "Suffer Our torment of which you were warned". 39 And We have indeed made the Qur’an easy to memorise, so is there one who would remember? 40

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
