[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
