Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
