Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
