Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
