And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
