Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 But [on that Day], when mortal sight is confounded, 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 on that Day will man say: “Whither the refuge?” 10 By no means! NO refuge! 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 Nay! man is evidence against himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue with it to hasten it; 16 Ours it is to gather it, and to recite it. 17 So, as We recite it, follow its reading. 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 NAY, but [most of] you love this fleeting life, 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 And how many faces on that Day will be woe-begone 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 Nay! When it comes up to the throat, 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 and when he thinks it is the time of departure 28 and when leg is intertwined with leg, 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
