Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
