The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
