The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
