We have turned about in this Koran, that they may remember; and it increases them only in aversion. 41 Say: "Had there been other gods with Him, as they assert, they would surely have sought a way (of opposition) against the Lord of the Throne." 42 Glory to Him! He is high above all that they say!- Exalted and Great (beyond measure)! 43 The seven heavens declare His glory and the earth (too), and those who are in them; and there is not a single thing but glorifies Him with His praise, but you do not understand their glorification; surely He is Forbearing, Forgiving. 44 When you recite the Quran, We place an invisible barrier between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter. 45 We lay veils upon their hearts and heaviness in their ears, lest they understand it. When you (Prophet Muhammad) mention your Lord alone in the Koran, they turn their backs in aversion. 46 We know best of what they listen to, when they listen to you. And when they take secret counsel, behold, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) say: "You follow none but a bewitched man." 47 Just see how strange are the things they invent about you. They have altogether strayed, and are unable to find the right way. 48 And they say, “When we have become bones and decomposed, will we really be raised up anew?” 49 Say: "[You will be raised from the dead even though] you be stones or iron 50 ۞ “Or some other creation which you deem great”; so they will now say, “Who will create us again?”; proclaim, “He Who created you for the first time”; so now they will mockingly shake their heads at you, and question, “When is this going to occur?”; say, “It could perhaps be soon.” 51 The Day whereon He will call you, and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will imagine that ye had tarried but little. 52
