So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 left and right, in numerous groups? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 to replace them with others better than them: nothing can prevent Us from doing this, 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
