The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
