S (Saad)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Sad. By the Qur'an containing reminder... 1 But the Unbelievers (are steeped) in self-glory and Separatism. 2 Many a generation We did destroy before them – thereupon they cried out whereas it is not the time to escape! 3 So they wonder that a Warner has come to them from among themselves! and the Unbelievers say, "This is a sorcerer telling lies! 4 Has he made the gods one single God? This is truly astounding.” 5 And the leader among them go away (impatiently), (saying), "Walk ye away, and remain constant to your gods! For this is truly a thing designed (against you)! 6 We have heard nothing like this in the latest religion. This is only his own false invention. 7 Was the message sent only to him out of all of us?" In fact, they doubt My warning; in fact, they have not yet tasted My punishment. 8 Or do they hold the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Great Bestower? 9 Or is theirs the kingdom of the heavens and earth and of what between them is? Why, then let them ascend the cords! 10 A host of deserters of the allies shall be here put to flight. 11 The people of Nuh and Ad, and Firon, the lord of spikes, rejected (apostles) before them. 12 Thamood, the nation of Lot and the dwellers of the Thicket such were the confederates. 13 Not one of them but belied the Messengers, therefore My Torment was justified, 14
