And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling." 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 Said [the servant]: "Wouldst thou believe it? When we betook ourselves to that rock for a rest, behold, I forgot about the fish - and none but Satan made me thus forget it - and it took its way into the sea! How strange!" 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
