The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed, that they Shall not return. 95 Until when Ya'juj and Ma'juj are let out, and from every mound they are trickling down. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 “Had these been Gods they would not go into hell; and they have to remain in it.” 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Lo! those unto whom kindness hath gone forth before from Us, they will be far removed from thence. 101 neither shall they hear any of its whisper, but shall live for ever in that their souls desired. 102 The supreme awesomeness [of the Day of Resurrection] will cause them no grief, since the angels will receive them with the greeting: "This is your Day [of triumph - the Day] which you were promised!" 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth.” 105 This is a lesson for those who worship (God). 106 We have not sent thee, save as a mercy unto all beings. 107 Say, "It has been revealed to me that your God is but One God. Will you then submit to Him?" 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal. 110 I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while." 111 Say: "O my Sustainer! Judge Thou in truth!" - and [say]: "Our Sustainer is the Most Gracious, the One whose aid is ever to be sought against all your [attempts at] defining [Him]!" 112
